Understand plan allowances and provider limits

A Datplan plan controls source access and product capacity. It cannot override the provider’s own API quota, permissions, service availability or usage by another integration.

Monthly data allowance

The eligible downloaded data available in the current Datplan billing period. Unused allowance does not roll over.

Daily pull credits

The number of eligible pull starts available per day for the plan. A failed or partial provider interaction may still have consumed resources.

Connected clients

The number of separate source connections or client contexts allowed by the source plan.

Dashboards and scheduler

Plans set saved-dashboard capacity and whether scheduled jobs are available.

Four limits can affect one run

  1. Datplan planPull credits, data allowance, connections and feature access.
  2. Provider accountAPI quota, endpoint access, permissions and other integrations.
  3. Device and networkAvailable storage, memory, Windows session, file access and connectivity.
  4. Reporting workflowThe number and grain of tables, export format and downstream refresh requirements.

Incremental sync helps, but it is not a bypass

Where supported, a saved checkpoint can reduce repeated download volume. It does not create extra provider quota, restore expired consent or guarantee that every endpoint supports incremental behaviour.

Usage questions

Know which limit you are looking at

What is a pull credit?

A pull credit is part of the Datplan plan allowance for initiating eligible source pulls. The current in-app plan state is the source of truth for remaining usage.

What is the monthly data allowance?

It is the Datplan plan limit for eligible downloaded data during the billing period. It is separate from provider quotas and does not roll over.

Why can a pull stop before my Datplan allowance is used?

The source provider may apply its own quota, permission, endpoint or service limits, and other apps or users connected to the same provider tenant may already have consumed part of that quota.

Are data rows unlimited?

Plan tables describe data rows as unlimited, but pulls are still bounded by monthly data allowance, daily pull credits, provider limits, device resources and practical reporting capacity.
