Connect a source and run a controlled API sync
Use API Pull to choose the exact workspace, source and provider connection, then review what completed before relying on the refreshed reporting data.
Connect the provider account
- Open API PullSelect or create the workspace that should own this connection.
- Choose the sourceSelect the supported provider and click Connect account.
- Complete provider consentSign in on the provider’s own browser page and review the requested access.
- Return and confirmSelect the connected organisation, portal or account in Datplan and use Test connection if available.
Run choices
Use a standard sync unless a clean rebuild is needed
Standard sync
Uses the saved position or checkpoint where supported, requests the required updates and preserves a repeatable routine reporting workflow.
Full re-pull
Requests a clean source rebuild. It can consume more Datplan allowance and provider quota, so use it deliberately.
Do not repeatedly full-pull to solve an unexplained problem. First read the endpoint results and run notes. Another integration may already have consumed provider quota, or the provider account may need reconnection.
After the run
Check the evidence before opening the dashboard
Run summary
Review the overall state, downloaded volume, start and finish information and any warning notes.
Reconciliation
Use available source and transformed row summaries to identify unexpected gaps or exclusions.
Diagnostics
Export the sync report or diagnostic ZIP when support requests it. Inspect and sanitise anything shared.

How do I connect a source?
Open API Pull, choose the workspace and source, then select Connect account. Complete the provider’s browser sign-in and consent, return to Datplan, and select the confirmed connection.
What is a standard sync?
It refreshes the selected source and uses an incremental checkpoint where that source endpoint supports one. The page shows progress, endpoint results, downloaded volume and run notes.
When should I re-pull all data?
Use a full re-pull when local data is stale or incomplete, the source shape changed materially, or support recommends a rebuild. Routine work should normally use the standard sync.
What should I review after a sync?
Review completion status, each endpoint result, run notes, reconciliation output and the timestamp of the local data before using it in a report.
