1. Agreement and operator
By installing, accessing or using Datplan DataPull, the user agrees to this End User Licence Agreement. Datplan is the licensor of the application. Questions may be sent to info@datplan.com.
2. Licence grant
Subject to this agreement, Datplan grants the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the application on authorised Windows devices for the user's internal business, professional or personal reporting purposes.
The application is licensed, not sold. Datplan and its licensors retain ownership of the software, branding, documentation and intellectual-property rights.
3. Accounts and authorised source access
The user must connect only provider organisations, portals, companies or accounts they are authorised to access. Provider sign-in and consent are completed through the provider's own OAuth or authorisation process. The user is responsible for provider permissions, account security and compliance with the provider's terms.
Datplan may request only the scopes reasonably required for the selected source features. Available records depend on the provider, account, permissions, API, subscription status and purchased Datplan plan.
4. Local data and outputs
Supported provider datasets are downloaded through the desktop application into local app data and user-selected outputs. The user controls the Windows device, exports, reports and backups and is responsible for protecting, retaining and deleting them.
Datplan may retain limited online records required for sign-in, OAuth token handling, source access, billing, usage limits, execution state, security and support, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Restrictions
The user must not copy, sublicense, rent, resell or distribute the application except where mandatory law permits; bypass plans, usage controls, provider limits or security measures; use the application unlawfully; access data without authority; interfere with the service; or reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the application except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
6. Third-party providers
Xero, HubSpot, Companies House, Microsoft, Stripe and other services are independent third parties. QuickBooks Online is currently in sandbox validation pending Intuit production approval. Their availability, APIs, data, permissions and terms are outside Datplan's control. Datplan is not endorsed by these providers unless expressly stated.
The user may revoke an integration through provider settings where supported. Disconnecting prevents future access after the relevant credentials or tokens cease to be valid, but does not automatically delete local exports or reports already created.
7. Updates and changes
Datplan may provide updates, fixes, security changes or feature changes. Some updates may be required to continue using online account, source or billing functions. Provider changes may require Datplan to alter or discontinue an integration or feature.
8. Support
Support information is available at datplan.com/support/. Users must not send passwords, OAuth tokens, provider secrets or confidential source databases through ordinary email.
9. Warranty and reporting responsibility
The application is provided with reasonable care and skill, but source-provider data and APIs may be incomplete, delayed, unavailable or changed. Datplan does not warrant uninterrupted operation or that exported data or reports will be error-free or suitable for a particular accounting, tax, audit, legal, credit or business decision.
The user must review source records, transformations, calculations, relationships, filters and reports before relying on them. Nothing in this agreement excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Datplan is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss caused by provider outages or unauthorised access arising from the user's device, account or handling of local files. Any limitation is subject to rights and liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
11. Suspension and termination
The user may stop using and uninstall the application at any time. Datplan may suspend or terminate source access for non-payment, unlawful or abusive use, security risk, material breach, provider requirement or discontinuation. On termination, the licence ends and the user must stop using the affected service or application where required.
Termination does not automatically delete local files outside Datplan's control. Account and service records are handled under the Privacy Policy and applicable retention duties.
12. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the user's country of residence. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
