API scheduler workflow

The scheduler helps users refresh reporting data without manually running the same pull every time. A schedule is created for a specific workspace, source, and connected account.

  1. Open Scheduler.
  2. Choose the workspace, source, and connected account.
  3. Select once, daily, weekly, or monthly.
  4. Save the schedule and review status after it runs.

Schedule status and logs

Scheduled jobs should be reviewed through their run status and execution logs. Logs are useful for understanding whether a refresh completed, was skipped, failed, reached a usage limit, or needs the source account to be reconnected.

Schedules are a convenience feature for repeatable reporting. They do not remove tier allowances, source provider limits, or provider-side rate limits.

Frequently asked questions

Can I schedule automatic refreshes?

Yes. Open Scheduler and create a schedule for a selected workspace, source, and connection. Schedules can be created once, daily, weekly, or monthly.

What does the scheduler page show?

The scheduler page shows scheduled jobs, run status, execution history, and messages that explain why a scheduled pull did or did not run.

What can stop a scheduled pull?

A scheduled pull may not run if source access has expired, usage allowance is reached, the account needs reconnecting, another pull is already running, or provider limits have been reached.

Do scheduled pulls avoid provider limits?

No. Scheduled pulls are still subject to Datplan tier allowances and source provider limits.
