TallyPrime client reporting tutorial
Set up a TallyPrime client dashboard
Watch the reporting-folder, scheduling and Microsoft-sharing workflow using demonstration data.

Before using your own data
DataPull runs on Windows. TallyPrime must be open with the intended company loaded for a new pull. A paid TallyPrime source plan is required for live data, and scheduling depends on the plan and availability of the PC, source and destination.
Grant the intended client view permission on the exact OneDrive or SharePoint reporting folder. A Datplan connection code identifies the folder and grants no permission by itself; Microsoft sign-in and company consent policies still apply. The recording uses separate setup and client examples and does not demonstrate invitation delivery or independent recipient acceptance. Current Help remains the authority if controls differ from the recording.

Your data. Clearer decisions. Welcome to Datplan DataPull.
Start with TallyPrime open and the company you want to report on loaded.
In Datplan Settings, select the workspace, TallyPrime source
and assigned company.
Choose a scheduled export folder inside your OneDrive.
Set this destination once for this company.
Future scheduled exports reuse the saved location.
Open Scheduler and select the same source and company.
Choose the frequency and time that suit your reporting routine.
Here, the schedule runs daily.
Select CSV and the star schema export, and replace existing
files so the dashboard keeps reading the same reporting location.
Enable the Windows Scheduler option if you want Windows to open Datplan when it
is closed.
Add the schedule, then check its execution status.
Keep the computer available, TallyPrime open, and the correct company
loaded for the scheduled pull.
After the export succeeds, open its company folder in OneDrive.
Share the folder containing the reporting exports, rather than an individual
CSV file.
Enter your client's Microsoft account email.
Change the link settings to the specific people you choose, and give the client
view access.
Then send the invitation.
The client must accept or open the share using that authorised
Microsoft account.
This recording shows the invitation step; it does not show a separate client
signing in.
On datplan dot com, open Dashboards and choose TallyPrime.
The initial dashboard contains demonstration data.
Open Manage, then Connection, and choose Connect to Folder.
Sign in to Microsoft using an account with access to the exported files.
This connection example is a separate recorded selection.
For your own setup, select the exact company export folder you shared.
Use Alias to give the connection a clear display name for your client.
Choose a report from the dashboard menu.
The suite includes financial performance, revenue and costs, trial balance and
voucher analysis.
Use the available date and reporting filters to focus the view.
Where supported, play the timeline to explore changes over time, or keep the
chart static.
Always read the selected period and the data freshness information before
interpreting a total.
The figures shown here are demonstration data.
Use View to change the dashboard's language and colour theme.
Here, the same reports are shown in Hindi and with a different palette,
before returning to English.
These display choices help you present the reporting clearly to your audience.
Open Manage and choose Key.
Copy the connection key, and send it privately with the dashboard web address.
The key locates the reporting folder.
It is not a password and does not grant Microsoft access.
For your client, the steps are simple.
Open the dashboard link, choose Use a Connection Key,
paste the complete key, and select Use key.
If Microsoft asks you to sign in, use the same account that received folder
access.
If access is refused, check the Microsoft share and account first.
After a successful scheduled export and OneDrive sync, use Refresh to
load the latest published files.
