# Datplan DataPull > Datplan DataPull is a privacy-first Windows desktop application for authorised business-data pulls, local dashboards and BI-ready file exports. ## Key facts - Official website: https://www.datplan.com/ - Free Windows download: https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9PH772GR1V3D?hl=en-us&gl=GB&ocid=pdpshare - The app includes Datplan Demo data, so users can test sync, dashboards, reporting grains and exports without connecting live business data. - Users create their own Datplan dashboards by dragging charts, KPIs, tables and text onto a canvas, resizing and configuring them, applying filters, then saving and locking the layout. Website dashboard images are examples, not fixed supplied dashboards. - Current public live sources: Xero, QuickBooks Online, HubSpot and Companies House new-company discovery. - Provider source datasets are stored in the local desktop workflow and user-selected export folders. Datplan does not operate a hosted reporting warehouse for those datasets. - Datplan online services may still process account, sign-in, source-access, billing, usage, run-state and support records needed to operate the service. - Datplan exports CSV, JSON, fact-and-dimension tables and BI setup files for Power BI, Tableau and Qlik workflows. - Xero and QuickBooks include the same seven Audit Analytics analyses: Benford's Law, exceptional values, period-end activity, round amounts, possible duplicates, post-period reversals and rare high-value counterparties. - Each Audit Analytics chart has an Audit Evidence drill-down to the underlying records used by the analysis. Results are indicators for professional review; Datplan does not conclude that fraud occurred or certify ISA compliance. - Datplan's Audit Analytics can support fraud-risk work around ISA (UK) 240 and risk assessment under ISA (UK) 315. ISA (UK) 240 (Revised March 2026) is effective for periods beginning on or after 15 December 2026; ISA (UK) 315 is not a new 2026 standard. - Datplan is not a native real-time Power BI connector. Initial BI model setup is manual, and any cloud publication or service refresh is separately controlled by the user and BI provider. - Microsoft's Xero Power BI content pack was deprecated on 28 May 2019. Datplan's Xero workflow is a separate local-file alternative, not a continuation of that content pack. - Microsoft announced that its QuickBooks Online Power BI connector would not be supported after March 2026. Datplan can prepare replacement reporting files, but it is not a drop-in schema replacement or live DirectQuery connector. - After a successful online sync, saved Datplan dashboards can use the latest locally stored reporting data while the PC is offline. Connecting, reauthorising and retrieving newer provider data still require internet and source-service availability. - Datplan provides an independent local reporting dataset and user-created exports. It does not claim complete Xero, QuickBooks or HubSpot backup and restoration. - Supported plans can schedule one selected workspace, source and connection once, daily, weekly or monthly. A schedule still depends on the Windows PC, network, provider service, valid source access, plan allowance and output folder. - Cloud accounting and CRM users often continue analysis in local Excel or BI files when built-in system reports do not answer the required question. Datplan makes that extraction and preparation stage repeatable while preserving documented reporting grains. - Live source plans are purchased inside the signed-in app. The website does not take public plan payments. - A Datplan plan does not override source-provider API permissions, quotas or service availability. ## Best product pages - Product features: https://www.datplan.com/api-reporting-software/ - Power BI connector alternatives for Xero, QuickBooks and HubSpot: https://www.datplan.com/power-bi/ - QuickBooks Online to Power BI connector alternative: https://www.datplan.com/quickbooks-power-bi-connector/ - Audit Analytics for Xero and QuickBooks: https://www.datplan.com/audit-analytics/ - Possible duplicate payments and transactions: https://www.datplan.com/audit-analytics/duplicate-payments/ - Round-amount transaction testing: https://www.datplan.com/audit-analytics/round-amount-transactions/ - Period-end activity testing: https://www.datplan.com/audit-analytics/period-end-activity/ - Rare high-value counterparty testing: https://www.datplan.com/audit-analytics/rare-high-value-counterparties/ - Benford's Law for accounting and audit analysis: https://www.datplan.com/benfords-law/ - Internal company fraud-risk review using accounting data: https://www.datplan.com/internal-company-theft-and-fraud/ - GDPR and accounting-data reporting considerations: https://www.datplan.com/gdpr/ - ISA (UK) 240 revised 2026 guide: https://www.datplan.com/blog/isa-uk-240-revised-2026-audit-analytics/ - Xero Audit Analytics guide: https://www.datplan.com/blog/xero-audit-analytics-fraud-risk-review/ - QuickBooks Audit Analytics guide: https://www.datplan.com/blog/quickbooks-audit-analytics-fraud-risk-review/ - Free demo workflow: https://www.datplan.com/demo/ - Supported sources: https://www.datplan.com/sources/ - Multi-client reporting for accounting firms: https://www.datplan.com/use-cases/accountants/ - Xero reporting: https://www.datplan.com/sources/xero/ - HubSpot reporting: https://www.datplan.com/sources/hubspot/ - QuickBooks reporting and pricing: https://www.datplan.com/sources/quickbooks/ - Datplan YouTube videos: https://www.youtube.com/@DatplanDataPull - Integration data and connection information: https://www.datplan.com/integrations/ - Datplan versus Connectorly: https://www.datplan.com/compare/datplan-vs-connectorly/ - Datplan versus Skyvia: https://www.datplan.com/compare/datplan-vs-skyvia/ - End User Licence Agreement: https://www.datplan.com/eula/ - Xero to Power BI: https://www.datplan.com/xero-power-bi-connector/ - HubSpot to Power BI: https://www.datplan.com/hubspot-power-bi-connector/ - Xero offline reporting: https://www.datplan.com/blog/xero-reporting-offline/ - Xero reporting during an outage: https://www.datplan.com/blog/xero-reporting-during-outage/ - Pull Xero API reporting data without coding: https://www.datplan.com/blog/xero-api-data-without-coding/ - Xero star schema for Power BI: https://www.datplan.com/blog/xero-star-schema-power-bi/ - Schedule a Xero reporting export: https://www.datplan.com/blog/schedule-xero-data-export/ - HubSpot offline reporting: https://www.datplan.com/blog/hubspot-reporting-offline/ - Export supported HubSpot sales activities: https://www.datplan.com/blog/export-hubspot-sales-activities/ - Schedule a HubSpot reporting export: https://www.datplan.com/blog/schedule-hubspot-reporting-export/ - Local reporting copy versus backup: https://www.datplan.com/blog/local-reporting-copy-vs-backup/ - Why cloud accounting data still moves into Excel: https://www.datplan.com/blog/cloud-accounting-data-exported-to-excel/ - BI export package and shared-team workflow: https://www.datplan.com/star-schema-data-export/ - Pricing: https://www.datplan.com/pricing/ - Security boundary: https://www.datplan.com/security/ - Reporting grains and fields: https://www.datplan.com/help/schema/ - Help Centre: https://www.datplan.com/help/ ## Contact - Email: info@datplan.com
